Battery & Electrical Recycling Information (WEEE)

Some of our products contain built-in rechargeable lithium batteries and are classified as electrical equipment under the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations.

Do Not Dispose of in Household Waste

Products displaying the crossed-out wheelie bin symbol must not be placed in general household waste. Lithium batteries require specialist handling and recycling.

Improper disposal may cause environmental harm and presents a potential fire risk.

How to Dispose of Your Product Safely

As the battery is built in and cannot be removed, the entire unit must be recycled as electrical waste.

You can dispose of your item safely using one of the following options:

1. Local Household Waste Recycling Centre (Recommended)

Your local council recycling centre will have a designated area for:

  • Small electrical items

  • Battery-powered devices

This is the safest and most reliable method of disposal.

2. Retailer Take-Back Services

Many large retailers and supermarkets offer free take-back schemes for small electrical items (typically under 25–30cm), even if the item was not purchased from them.

Availability may vary by store location.

We recommend contacting your local store to confirm acceptance before visiting.

3. Recycling Locators (UK Customers)

You can find your nearest recycling facility by visiting:

  • Recycle Your Electricals

  • Recycle Now

Simply enter your postcode to locate an approved drop-off point.

Important Safety Information

  • Do not dismantle the unit.
