NiteSafe Motion Sensor II LED Motion Sensor With Torch & Power Failure Light
-
The new and improved Sensor II offers a choice of modes: Motion Sensor or Dusk Till Dawn with Motion Sensor. The Sensor II features a high-powered COB LED producing up to 130 lumens when used in torch mode.
When first plugged in, the Sensor II defaults to Motion Sensor mode. In this mode, the front LEDs activate in low or dark light when motion is detected, remaining on for approximately 20 seconds before switching off.
To switch to Dusk Till Dawn with Motion Sensor mode, press the button on the front of the torch while it is inside the charging cradle. In this mode, the front LEDs turn on automatically in low light and increase in brightness when motion is detected, before returning to a constant night light.
When seated in the cradle, the top LEDs will automatically turn on during a power cut or if the wall socket is switched off. The Sensor II provides up to 5 hours of light in power failure mode from a full charge.
The Sensor II can be removed from the cradle at any time for use as a handheld torch. Once removed, the top LEDs activate automatically. Press the front button to switch to the front LED light, press again for SOS flashing mode, and press once more to turn all lights off.
This product is intended to remain in the plug-in cradle for the majority of the time. Power cut detection only works when the torch has charge and is correctly seated in the cradle with the wall socket switched on.
Please note that the night light feature activates whenever the torch detects ambient light levels lower than natural daylight. This can be caused by shadows, objects partially covering the unit, or the time of day, depending on where the torch is plugged in.
